Get your skates ready. Starting Friday, November 24, guests at the West End hotel, Fairmont, will be able to enjoy an outdoor ice skating rink, located at the building’s interior courtyard.

According to a press release, the 900-square-foot rink will be open on Mondays through Fridays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The price is $5 per hour with a pair of rental skates included. There is a limited supply of rental skates available.

Around the rink, there will be fire pits. Overlooking the courtyard will be Santa Claus, located inside a luxurious suite designed by EDGE Floral Event Planners. Ho ho how about that?

Around March 2016, the hotel underwent a multi-million dollar renovation to outfit all 415 guestrooms with new furnishings and carpeting. The hotel's amphitheater was also converted into a 2,900-square-foot ballroom, called the Kennedy Ballroom.
