After 123 submissions of names for NoMa’s first park, it’s time to finally choose a winner. The park, located at 3rd and L streets NE, has three names up for consideration: Swampoodle Park, Old City Corner, and 3rd and L Park. To vote, go to this online survey. The final decision will end up being made by the D.C. Council and Mayor Muriel Bowser.
Once construction is complete, the 8,000-square-foot park will feature a space for dogs with a dog agility ramp as well as a vertical play structure for children ages 5 and up.
The project is expected to deliver by January 2018.
