In Bethesda, Maryland, the former home of William Peter Blatty, the author of the best-selling novel, “The Exorcist,” has listed for $3,195,000. While previously owned by a famed horror novelist, this property is more luxurious than it is spooktacular.

One of the major luxurious amenities inside is an “entertainment room” with a fireplace and a full bar that is adorned with wood paneling and stained glass. There is also a lower-level recreation room with a wet bar and a spa, sauna, and an indoor pool with an electric cover. Two two-car attached garages are also included.

With over half an acre of land, this more than 6,000-square-foot property comes with six bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. According to the listing, it was constructed in 1988.

The listing agent is Kara Sheehan of Washington Fine Properties.
