There will be three hotels opening their doors at the Southwest Waterfront’s $2 billion project, known as The Wharf. These hotels include Hyatt House, The Wharf InterContinental, and North America’s first ever Canopy by Hilton. Curbed DC was able to get images of what visitors should expect from the latter hotel, which spans 10 stories with 175 total guestrooms.

Canopy by Hilton features a dog-friendly environment with amenities that include complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby, a rooftop bar and lounge, and themed “foodie bags.” In the evening, the hotel also hosts tastings of local wines, beers, and spirits.

The hotel labels each of its guestrooms as the “Just-Right Room.” The designs inside each include gray and beige tones, nautical touches, refrigerated drawers, and illuminated mirrors in the bathrooms. There are also nearly unbeatable views of the Potomac River.
