For $8.95 million, homebuyers have the chance to purchase this Georgetown mansion, constructed in c. 1875.
In June 2012, it landed on the market for $9.85 million, causing it to become one of the District’s priciest homes for sale. In April 2016, it relisted once again for $9.975 million, becoming the third priciest listing in Georgetown.
Since then, the listing has languished, which is what probably caused the recent price chop and relisting.
Some of the most striking features of the home include the 13-foot-high ceilings and paneled walls in the parlor. The kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances, while the wood-paneled library offers built-in bookshelves. Outside, there is a side driveway and a rear deck and patio.
