It’s still up in the air, but if all goes according to Douglas Development’s plans, Washington, D.C.’s Ivy City neighborhood may one day have a new winery and restaurant as well as a 300- to 350-seat concert venue, plus a rooftop bar.

Bisnow reported that the developer is working with City Winery with the hopes to open the music venue by the end of 2017. Already, City Winery has locations in New York, Chicago, Nashville, and Atlanta.

If City Winery signs the lease for one of the developer’s warehouses on Okie Street NE, it will become the second winery to open in Washington, D.C. The first is located in Navy Yard, which is slated to open in the fall of this year.
