Marble-centric Georgetown penthouse chops price, asks $1.99M

Perfect for a dentist or probably some kind of doctor

This rather sterile penthouse in Georgetown just relisted with a brand new price. When it first landed on the market in March 2015, it wanted $2.5 million with $1,452 monthly HOA dues. Now, it’s asking $1,995,000 with $1,500 monthly HOA dues.

Inside the one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom unit, there are marble, glass, and “rare wood” textures throughout. The bathroom is a tad revealing with glass walls around the freestanding tub. There are also few glass walls—this time frosted—around the bedroom as well.

Other need-to-know details include what the listing describes as a “sculptural staircase,” biofuel fireplaces, and a private terrace with views of the Potomac River.
