At 2300 16th Street NW, there are plans for a 110-unit residential development, designed by Perkins Eastman. UrbanTurf was the first to report about the new renderings for the project, further reporting that the revisions may have been the product of opposition previously vocalized by ANC 1C and locals.
Originally, the developer planned on creating 140 units. The original renderings were designed by Shalom Baranes Associates with Juliet balconies and "green screens."
