What Google’s new satellite images of the D.C. area reveal
Google Maps has updated its imagery of the D.C. area. Now, those who use the website will be able to see the completed MGM National Harbor and the National Museum of African American History and Culture, which both opened to the public last year.

Getting tickets for the African American Museum just got easier
The Smithsonian will make free, same-day passes available online, starting December 19, rather than requiring visitors to line up in person. Ticket sales will begin at 6:30 a.m. on a daily basis. Walk-ins may be possible on weekdays after 1 p.m.
