Capitol Hill church, rowhouses to be replaced by condos

46 condos to be exact

In Capitol Hill, the Mount Paran Baptist Church and its adjacent rowhouses will be replaced by a 46-unit condo development, headed by Pecar Properties. Already, the church and rowhouses have been razed.

UrbanTurf reported that the development, located at 1345 K Street SE, will have more condos than previously planned. In January 2016, UrbanTurf reported that the project would only have 36 units, but both a 36-unit condo development and a 10-unit condo development will be constructed.

The 10-unit development’s official website reports that there will be two one-bedrooms, seven two-bedrooms, and a penthouse with a private wraparound deck. Prices will start from the high $300,000s. Only five parking spaces will be available.

The project is slated to deliver next year, reported UrbanTurf.
