Live a block away from Obama for $5.75M

The sunlit conservatory might be the most stunning feature of this home

For $5.75 million, homebuyers are able to nab a single-family home located only a block away from the Kalorama home that U.S. President Barack Obama will eventually reside in. The listing located at 6 Kalorama Circle NW was previously under the ownership of the late National Gallery of Art Director J. Carter Brown and philanthropist Connie Mellon, according to Washington Business Journal.

The residence spans 5,406 square feet with six bedrooms and six bathrooms. It was constructed in c. 1930 and comes with luxurious features like an elevator, sunlit conservatory, and what the listing describes as "an incredible viewing deck with 360 degree views of D.C." The listing also features a detached four-car garage.

Washington Business Journal described the listing as "the latest test of the withering strength D.C.'s luxury housing market." The single-family home was last on the market in April 2016 for $6.2 million.
