In August 2016, the D.C. area’s next co-working space, e-lofts, is expected to open with loft-style spaces capable of being used as apartments and or offices.
The units will range from one- to two-bedrooms with square footage varying from 650 to 1,200. There will be moveable pocket walls, 10-foot-high exposed ceilings, and kitchens with quartz countertops and bottom drawer freezers. There will also be full-size washers and dryers, walk-in showers, and walk-in closets. All of the lighting will be by LED.
Some of the amenities to expect are a "table tennis garden," private club setting, and group fitness garden. Some of the less everyday amenities include a "pet station," pet salon, outdoor movie space, and soundproof music practice rooms. On each floor, there will be ADA-compliant public restrooms. Wi-Fi will be available throughout the space.
The company, e-lofts, plans on opening five locations in the D.C. area. The first location will be at 4501 Ford Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia.
