Big Reveal: $750K for a Renovated Anacostia Home

New, 4 comments

Most readers guessed too low for this listing

Is this Anacostia single-family home priced too high? For this week’s PriceSpotter, readers were asked to guess how much this four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom listing is on the market for. While most readers were between $550,000 and $650,000, the real price is $750,000.

While located in a Southeast neighborhood that tends to have lower prices when compared to other parts of the city, this home has a lot to offer. It was totally transformed from when it was last bought in February 2015 for $255,000. In the kitchen, there are stainless steel appliances and an island, while on the upper level, there are high cathedral ceilings. The finished lower level offers the availability to have an in-law suite as it features a kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom. There is also a two-car carport.

What do you think of the home? Let Curbed know in the comments.
