Million-dollar listings were never common in Brookland, but now it looks like they’re popping up every so often. The first million-dollar single-family home in the Northeast neighborhood landed on the market in October 2015 with five bedrooms and an attached garage.
Just recently, this three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom single-family home was placed on the market with a $1,099,500 asking price. With this price, this is Brookland’s most expensive single-family home for sale. It offers roughly 1,300 square feet of space, a detached two-car garage, and high ceilings. In the kitchen, there are stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and an island with a built-in sink. The finished lower level also features a wet bar.
The home last sold in January 2014 for $425,000. At the time, the property was in shambles and badly needed a new coat of paint. According to the listing, it wasn’t move in ready when it was sold. It also only had one-and-a-half bathrooms.
