In Washington, D.C., the recently released mobile game, Pokémon Go, has affected everything from businesses to parks to real estate. While every Pokéstop, gym, and rare Pokémon have been mapped so far, there’s little information about what the most popular areas are that players have been congregating at.
Thankfully, "location intelligence" firm Cuebiq took the time to look at the behavior of thousands of Pokémon Go users and create a top 10 list of the most visited gyms in Washington, D.C. Unsurprisingly, the majority of the gyms area located near the National Mall.

- Washington Circle
- Thomas Circle
