Big Reveal: $699,900 for a Two-Bed Truxton Circle Townhome

Only one in four pollsters got the right answer

This week, Curbed readers had to guess how much this two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom townhome in Truxton Circle cost. Here were some of the details that helped readers guess: it comes with a two-car tandem garage, stainless steel appliances, skylights, and a walk-in closet. Before it was renovated, it sold for $230,180 in June 2009.

At the time of this publication, there were 40 respondents to the poll. 45 percent guessed that $599,900 seemed like the best price for the listing. The correct answer, $699,900, received 25 percent of the votes. With so few respondents, it’s difficult to say whether there is a true consensus on if this listing is overpriced. What do you think? Do you think the ask is $100,000 too much? Let us know in the comments.
