Capitol Crossing, one of Washington, D.C.'s largest community revitalization projects, is set to announce a new phase of construction on Tuesday, June 14. The North Block platform covering the I-395 highway has officially completed. By this fall, the platform will completely extend all the way to E Street NW.
The project's first of five buildings, 200 Massachusetts Avenue NW, will deliver by 2018. This building will feature 25,000 square feet of retail space and span 12 stories and 407,000 square feet.
The announcement of the completion of the North Block platform will occur at 4 p.m. at 200 Massachusetts Avenue NW. At the event, Property Group Partners will discuss leasing opportunities available in the development.
The entire project will cost $1.3 billion with 2.2 million-square-feet of mixed-use development planned on seven acres of land. It is expected to complete by 2021.
