After the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, his wife, Jackie, moved into a Georgetown single-family home at at 3017 N Street NW. Just recently, her former residence became privately listed for $10 million by Washington Fine Properties. The former First Lady only lived at the residence for one year before moving to New York. After Jackie, New Republic publisher Michael Straight owned the house, and later American singer and beauty pageant titleholder Yolande Betbeze Fox owned the home for decades before she passed away in February.
The Daily Mail reported that the listing spans 7,000 square feet and features six bedrooms. There is also an elevator, staff quarters, and views of the Potomac River. According to Carol Ross Joynt, the listing is expected to go public in a month.
