Beam by beam, Property Group Partners has made progress on what is described as one of Washington, D.C.’s biggest and most ambitious community revitalization projects at the moment. Just recently, the 2.2 million-square-foot Capitol Crossing project reached a new milestone by breaking ground on the first of five buildings planned for the site over Interstate 395. With that milestone met, it looks like the developer is celebrating the steps they’ve put forward so far with a 40-second timelapse video.
In a statement, Regional Vice President of Property Group Partners Bob Braunohler said, "As construction begins on the first building, we want to make sure the public and area residents are fully aware of what to expect."
For those who would like to take a closer look at what the project looks like this very second, there is also a live stream on Youtube. At the time of this article’s publication, the stream didn’t seem to be functioning anymore, though.
