Foggy Bottom is D.C.'s Priciest Neighborhood; H Street and NoMa Are Fastest

The ranking as to which neighborhood in Washington, D.C. is the most expensive varies depending on who you ask. According to Apartment List, the Foggy Bottom-GWU-West End area has the highest rents out of any neighborhood in Washington, D.C. The median listing price for a two-bedroom apartment totals to $4,660/month.

Despite having the highest rents, the Foggy Bottom-GWU-West End area is not the quickest neighborhood in the District. The two areas with the fastest year-over-year rent growth are H Street-NoMa and U Street-Cardozo.
