How Millennials and Baby Boomers Compare When it Comes to Homebuying

The two groups are alike in more ways than one

It's official. Millennials have surpassed Baby Boomers as America's largest living generation, reported Pew Research Center. Rather than discuss the differences between the two generations, Washington, D.C.-based homebuilder and real estate developer Miller & Smith wants to focus on how the two groups meet in the middle when it comes to home buying preferences.

According to Doug Smith, president of Miller & Smith, both groups greatly appreciate easy access to entertainment and shopping. They also favor diverse populations and green spaces, such as community gardens.
