Colorful Capitol Hill Home on the Market for $1.6M

If you've ever wanted to consider a home that's not so admittedly gray, then this is the one to see.

Some homes that are built in 1890 feel fairly modern inside. This one doesn't. And mostly, that's a good thing.

If you like character. Mixed with the color studies embarked upon by the current owner. Have you ever seen such an adventure in lavender and stained glass? Not to be outdone by the rich hues of turquoise in one of the bedrooms, followed by a journey in green as we go down the ROYGBIV trail. But don't worry, there are a couple rooms that aren't overwhelmingly awash in color. And the kitchen could perhaps use a bit more magic, although the cabinetry has tons of character to work with. But that's what makes the house more real, and not a rainbowland fairytale kingdom. Although the pool and jacuzzi are pretty fabulous.

This house is ready to be a bed and breakfast. Or a featured listing in Airbnb. Something.
