Kent Mansion Chops Price by a Million, Still Rather Pricey

Take a look inside the second priciest listing in the Kent neighborhood

Does living in the home of a former U.S. ambassador mean nothing to homebuyers? Maybe. In October 2015, this seven-bedroom mansion landed on the Kent market with an asking price of $7.35 million. Since then, it has gotten a pretty massive price chop, leaving it to the current $6.2 million.

The previous owners of this listing were Nancy Rubin, the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, and Miles Rubin, who founded Miles Electric Vehicles in 2004. This property comes with a cobblestone motor court, spa, and roughly half an acre of land. It also comes with views of Battery Kemble Park and the Potomac River.

According to Redfin, this house is the second most expensive listing in Kent, under this listing only a few doors down asking $7.895 million.
