Two Georgetown Properties to Be Redeveloped for 'Hip Asian Concept,' Residential

More retail and housing is on its way to Georgetown

A D.C.-based developer is planning on redeveloping two properties in Georgetown for ground-floor retail topped by two stories of residential space. Washington Business Journal reported that for 1728 Wisconsin Avenue NW, there are plans for a “new trendy, hip Asian concept.” For 1659 Wisconsin Avenue NW, it's still up in the air.

According to Washington Business Journal, the previous tenants for 1728 Wisconsin Avenue NW and 1659 Wisconsin Avenue NW were a shipping center and an antiques shop, respectively.

There are no renderings available just yet for the developments.
