Hoffman-Madison Waterfront has taken further strides to making the up-and-coming mixed-use waterfront community known as The Wharf a reality. In a recent press release, it was announced that the developer closed on $113 million in construction debt financing for Parcel 5, which will feature a 175-key Canopy by Hilton and a 237-key Hyatt House. SunTrust Bank and M&T Bank provided the financing.
Across the two hotels, there will be over 40,000 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space. Two restaurants that will be included are Hank’s Oyster Bar and Kirwan’s Irish Pub. A few of the amenities planned include a landscaped courtyard and plaza, 24-hour fitness center, and rooftop outdoor pool.
The two hotels are expected to open by the fall of 2017.
