On Saturday, May 14, the public will be able to know the ins and outs of financing, site selection, building design, and more at the Small Developer Boot Camp. R. John Anderson and Michael Lander will host the one-day workshop at the Montgomery County Planning Department Building at 8787 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland.
From 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the workshop will focus on buildings with two to 20 residential units and or buildings that are only one to three stories with a mix of uses. The early bird price is $170, while the regular price is $205. The door price jumps to $230.
Anderson is the co-founder and principal for Anderson|Kim Architecture + Urban Design and has over 30 years of experience in design and development. Lander is a real estate developer and broker as well as urban planner. Lander is the founder and president of Lander Group, a Minneapolis-based real estate development firm.
The workshop is hosted by the national non-profit Incremental Development Alliance and is co-sponsored by the Congress for New Urbanism, DC Chapter.
