Despite being a little "too aggressive" for the Historic Preservation Review Board's tastes, Monument Realty's planned residential project just north of the Verizon Center received approval from the Board of Zoning Adjustment this week. UrbanTurf reported that the project will span 11 stories with 133 residential units.
There are still no reports yet on whether or not the residential units will be condos or apartments or how expensive they will be. UrbanTurf reported that the project will feature amenities like a gym, an "Asian Living Arts Center," and three levels of below-grade parking. There will be 100 parking spaces and 64 bicycle spaces.
The site currently houses 13 buildings, seven of which will be incorporated into the new building, reported UrbanTurf.
