Gutted, Renovated Brightwood Abode Chops Price to $690K

Being the sixth most expensive listing on the market, this abode has a lot to offer

Just recently, this Brightwood townhome experienced its second price chop, dropping it from the original $724,900 to the current $689,900. Despite this drop, it's still pretty pricey for the Brightwood-Manor Park-Takoma area, being the sixth most expensive listing on the market and over $200,000 more than the area's median listing price. Will it find its fated homebuyer now, thanks to the more affordable price? Once its next guest finds out about its total renovation, it just might.

According to the listing, the abode was totally gutted. Now, it's bright and gorgeous on the inside with wainscoting, coffered ceilings, and hardwood flooring throughout. In the kitchen, there is a rather massive island with a built-in stovetop. The appliances are all stainless steel. Throughout the listing, there are other highlights like built-ins and skylights. The master bedroom spans two floors, while the fully finished basement comes with a separate kitchen.

This listing was last sold in February 2016 for $300,000. It was relisted later that month for $724,900.
