The lease has now been signed for a brand new Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Washington, D.C. This will be the first D.C. location, and it will feature a 44,000-square-foot theater in the Edgewood neighborhood. The theater will be part of a 13-acre project, known as Bryant Street, that is set to deliver by 2019, according to Washington Business Journal.

The theater will include a standalone bar, called Glass Half Full, and will also offer nine screens and 946 recliner seats in the theaters. There will also be a full-service restaurant menu.

The Bryant Street development will end up boasting 1,550 residential units and 245,000 square feet of retail. It will also offer public plazas, interactive art installations, and a direct bike trail and metro access.
