Expect luxury from the inside out

Commerce secretary nominee Wilbur Ross is looking for a new home, and he may have just found one. UrbanTurf reported that Ross placed a $12 million Massachusetts Avenue Heights mansion under contract for $12 million. The Beaux Arts estate comes with seven bedrooms, over an acre of land, and a close location to Rock Creek Park.

Some of the most luxurious features inside include that it has a pool, library, catering kitchen and staff quarters, and 12-person theater. The listing first landed on the market in September 2015.

It previously housed entrepreneur, philanthropist, and "Patron of Diplomacy" Adrienne Arsht, who purchased the property in 2010 for $8.2 million. In the property, Arsht has hosted diplomats, politicians, entertainers, and even the former prime minister of Spain José María Aznar.
