At 1555 Wilson Boulevard in Rosslyn, Virginia, Washington, D.C.-based investment company Penzance plans to construct a 270-foot-tall mixed-use project and a 240-foot-tall building with over 900 residential units. UrbanTurf reported that the project will feature a new Fire Station 10 as well as retail. Currently on the site is an office building.
The taller East building will include 18,590 square feet of retail and amenities like a pool and rooftop terrace. UrbanTurf further reported that this building will contain a total of 561 residential units.
The smaller West building will feature 351 residential units, 6,753 square feet of retail, and over 400 bicycle spaces.
Penzance also plans on extending North Pierce Street in order to bisect the site. There will also be a four-level, below-grade parking garage with over 1,000 spaces.
UrbanTurf reported that the Arlington County Planning Commission will review the plan in February 2017.
