Along Wisconsin Avenue NW, there are plans to create a brand new mixed-use project with approximately 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a rooftop fitness center.
If approved, the project will redevelop a group of commercial buildings for an eight-story L-shaped building with up to 140 apartments. 8 percent of the residential units are planned for affordable housing. A nearby 74-space parking garage would be maintained.
The two lots used in the project are located at 4620 and 4624 Wisconsin Avenue NW. UrbanTurf reported that the project is slated to begin construction in June 2017.
The developer of the project is Urban Investment Partners, while the architect is Hickok Cole Architects.
