Watch D.C.’s oldest synagogue move with these 10 photos
This Thursday, Washington, D.C.’s oldest synagogue began relocating from 3rd and G streets NW to 3rd and F streets NW. The 1876-built property, known as the Adas Israel Synagogue, is home to the Lillian and Albert Small Jewish Museum. The move will be done in two phases and won’t complete for another 24 to 30 months.

D.C.’s oldest synagogue will be relocated in November
On November 3, Property Group Partners with Wolfe House and Building Movers will begin relocating the Adas Israel Synagogue, located at Third and G streets NW. The synagogue is Washington, D.C.’s oldest and dates back to 1876.

Five buildings across seven acres of land, and not one residential unit? It’s possible. On the $1.3 billion Capitol Crossing project set between Capitol Hill and Downtown, Washingtonian reported, "Housing was never going to be a major component."

Capitol Crossing, one of Washington, D.C.’s largest revitalization projects, has continued to move forward, and these photos prove that. The platform covering Interstate 395 is now 50 percent completed. The first building is advancing as planned.

Capitol Crossing completes portion of platform above I-395
Capitol Crossing, one of Washington, D.C.'s largest community revitalization projects, is set to announce a new phase of construction on Thursday, June 14. The North Block platform covering the I-395 highway has officially completed.
