Adams Morgan will get a luxury pet hotel next year

Life of Riley is expected to be “very fancy” with a chauffeur service and “presidential suite”

Next year, dog owners in Adams Morgan are likely to rejoice at the opening of a brand new, high-end pet hotel, called Life of Riley. This will be the first Washington, D.C. location for the boutique pet care business, which already has Maryland locations in Rockville, Potomac, and Bethesda.

Borderstan was the first to report on the new development, further reporting that the location will house a "presidential suite," grooming and chauffeur service, and additional "very fancy" suites. The location will be at 2222 18th Street NW with an opening slated for March 2017.

Paul Abbot of Life of Riley wouldn’t disclose to Curbed DC the exact prices of the services that the Adams Morgan location will bring. He did note, though, that the prices in Washington, D.C. will be higher than in Maryland. Even so, the cost is expected to be "comparable."

Below, take a look at what Life of Riley’s Rockville, Maryland location looks like. The Adams Morgan location is not expected to look identical to the Rockville site, but it is expected to have the same look and feel.
