For the ninth year in a row, Zillow announced the 20 best cities in the nation for trick-or-treating. Topping the list this year was San Francisco with the nation’s capital ranking in eighth place.
When evaluating each city, Zillow looked at the Zillow Home Value Index, single-family home density, and the share of the population under 10 years old in cities with a population of at least 500,000.
When breaking down the data in Washington, D.C., Zillow was able to discover which neighborhoods in the District are the best for this year’s Halloween. Below, see the results:
- Kent
- Bloomingdale
- Park View
- Berkley
- Near Northeast
In 2016, Zillow named the following D.C. neighborhoods the best for Halloween:
- American University Park
- Chevy Chase
- Friendship Heights
- Kalorama
- Georgetown
