Expect new construction to begin this month in Crystal City at a 1.77-acre site, located at 400 Army Navy Drive. In a recent press release, it was revealed that LCOR closed on a $100,325,000 million construction loan from Wells Fargo that will make way for a development, called The Altaire. LCOR announced that the multi-family development is planned to be LEED Gold-certified. The entire project encompasses two glassy, 20-story towers, one with 150 luxury apartments and the other with 300 luxury apartments. Some of the units will feature balconies. Amenities will include a landscaped courtyard, pool, fire pits, and fitness center, according to the press release. SK & I is serving as the architect, while Akseizer Design Group is tasked as the interior designer. Delivery is expected by the second quarter of 2018.
