The guesses for this week's PriceSpotter ranged from $699,000 to $1.2 million, a pretty big range for a neighborhood with a median listing price of roughly $500,000. Two anonymous commenters gain this week's bragging rights, though, with the correct guess of $899,000. This Mt. Vernon Triangle has experienced two price chops, lowering its original asking $969,000 to $949,000 to the current price. It was last sold in January 2002 for $324,500. What really causes this row house to shine above others in the neighborhood is its large bay windows, exposed brick, side deck, and back patio. The listing also features an in-law suite to help pay for the mortgage. Great job to everyone this week, and be sure to check back next week for the next round of Curbed's asking price guessing game, PriceSpotter.
