With a sales price of $6.5 million, behold the most expensive condo sale in Washington, D.C. since 2013. According to The Washington Post, it is also the highest price paid for a condo not located near the Potomac River. The listing was located at the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton in West End. It was one of the development's two presidential penthouses and spanned 5,664-square-feet with two entrances. Some of the highlights that made the unit so costly included its three private balconies, marble foyer with panoramic views, gas fireplaces, and wet bar. The development also offers amenities like valet parking, porter service, and a doorman. In the Georgetown location of Residences at the Ritz-Carlton, there is another condo that is set on beating this record with a duplex on the market for $13.95 million. According to the Wall Street Journal, the most expensive condo ever sold in Washington, D.C. was in 2009 with the sale of a $7.295 million unit.
