Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, please make the Metro not so absolutely terrible anymore. While this series of words might seem fairly random, they might soon be spoken by Pope Francis on his visit to Washington, D.C. According to DCist, there is a Change.org petition that was formed this Monday that has already gained over 1,000 signatures. The petition reads:
Dear Pope Francis, Our Metro system is having some troubles. All of DC would be grateful if you could find the time to bless it during your upcoming stay. Maybe a Papal Blessing is just what it needs.
