Car Rammed Into U.S. Capitol Security Barricade on Friday

On the same day that an unnamed woman attempted to jump the White House fence, a man crashed his car into a security barricade at the U.S. Capitol. On Friday before 9 a.m., Antonio Pierorazio, 51, attempted to get on the U.S. Capitol grounds with his maroon Nissan Altima, which had Florida plates, according to ABC News. He was later charged with felony destruction of property and unlawful entry. Pierorazio is still in police custody, while his vehicle is at the D.C. Metropolitan Police lab. ABC News reported that Pierorazio believed the FBI was following him, causing him to want to get in contact with them. He also rammed his car into the barricade to raise awareness about a lawsuit he has against an insurance carrier.
