Get an Inside Look at Nationals Park's New Nursing Lounge

All photos via Washington Nationals

Nursing lounges are the biggest, newest thing that's sweeping stadiums around the nation. Just this past season, the Cincinnati Reds unveiled a deluxe nursing suite at Ohio's Great American Ball Park. Now, Nationals Park has joined the pack with the Lansinoh Nursing Lounge. This new lounge offers "pump-friendly outlets" along with a sink, refrigerator, and toddler play area. For mothers who want to continue to watch the game while nursing, there are also TVs tuned into the game.

According to Washingtonian, it was an Arlington mother who was able to convince Nationals Park to create the new nursing lounge. After having to use a stuffy and rather public conference room last April to nurse her child, she created a Change.org petition to ask stadium officials to create a nursing room that is always available during games, that is private, comfortable, and that allows mothers to view the game while away from the stands. The petition received over 750 supporters.

To find the new nursing lounge at Nationals Park, head to section 223, which is right off of the first base line. Get an inside look at what you should expect at the ballpark with the below photo gallery.
