Bethesda Condo Building Tops Off with Area's Priciest Units

New, 1 comment

Downtown Bethesda's newest condo development just topped off, featuring some of the area's most expensive housing and most over-the-top amenities. Construction isn't expected to complete for The Lauren until the first quarter of 2016, but already 13 of the 29 market-rate residents are under contract. The development will offer a total of 40 condos with 29 luxury units, five for-sale guest/amenity suites, and six affordable units. Each of the luxury units will average over 2,500-square-feet of space and will feature nine- to 10-foot-high ceilings, custom cabinetry, vented fireplaces, and gas appliances. For those who focus on amenities when they move into a new home, The Lauren doesn't hold back with a sommelier-in-residence, private wine storage, and a rooftop "entertaining venue." 70 percent of the units will also have a direct entry elevator. Take a look at the ins and outs of the development with the below photo gallery.
