Plans are in the works to construct a new mixed-use development beside the Howard Theatre in Shaw. Real estate blog Urban Turf reported that the six-story development will feature 110 residential units and 8,000-square-feet of retail space. The development will also offer 50 parking spaces. Curbed DC reached out to Marketing Manager of Monument Realty Pam Zandy for further details. The only details Zandy was able to share was that the developer does not yet own the property, and because of that is unable to speak further on the project. For now, stay tuned to find out if the residential units are condos or apartments and affordable or market-rate. The project is located at the corner of Wiltberger and T streets NW.
