The Museum of Science Fiction is asking supporters to contribute to their Kickstarter to be able to raise money for shipping, storage, and display for their first exhibition, called "Future of Travel." With a Kickstarter goal of $7,500, the exhibition will last four months, starting July 7. The exhibition will he held at the Reagan National Airport and will feature a large-scale Orion III spaceplan from 2001: Space Odyssey and retro-futuristic travel posters by artist Steve Thomas. Guests will also be able to use a companion mobile app that will provide exhibit information, an "interstellar passport," and a "boarding pass to the future."
