In Bethesda, the Gables White Flint mixed-use development recently experienced a name change along with newly released renderings. The development is now called Gables Pike District, a change meant to reflect White Flint's renaming as the Pike District. According to the Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row blog, the development will feature three buildings, two new streets, 476 apartments, and 31,000-square-feet of retail. The first phase of the development will include construction on the parking garage and will begin 2016. Construction on the apartments will begin 2017.
