Vision McMillan Partners unveiled the latest renderings for Parcel 2 of the McMillan Sand Filtration site. This parcel will feature 250 residential units and 15,000-square-feet of retail space, as reported by Urban Turf. 25 percent of the residential units will be designated for affordable housing. The new renderings show that the Three Quarter Street building was reduced in scale and that the masonry details and metal panel were changed from previous plans.
The first phase of the McMillan Sand Filtration Site redevelopment was approved last September by the D.C. Zoning Commission. The designs for Parcel 2 will be presented to the Historic Preservation Review Board on April 23. See all of the previously revealed renderings for the McMillan development here.
