Write a 350-Word Essay, Win a 210-Sq. Ft. Tiny Home in D.C.

Maryland nonprofit SustainaFest is offering a tiny home to whoever is willing and able to cough up $100 and write an essay of 350 words or fewer. The essay needs to answer these questions "What are your keys to living a sustainable lifestyle, and how would owning the SustainaFest Tiny House help you realize your dream of living that lifestyle?" The 210-square-foot tiny home was built by students in the summer of 2014 and is estimated to be worth around $76,000. The entry fee will fund SustainaFest's efforts to build additional tiny homes with students this year. If too few entries are submitted, the entry fees will be refunded, and no one will win the home. If you think you above all others deserve the tiny home, submit your entry fee and essay here. The submission deadline is June 1 with winners announced June 15.
