Since 2012, around 1,200 "red-top" parking meters have been installed around Washington, D.C., but it looks like the District will have to finally put a red light on the program. The purpose of the "red-top" parking meters is to indicate that those parking spots are reserved for disabled drivers. Unfortunately, many of these meters are clustered together in a way that is "confusing and illogical," as worded by DDOT Acting Director Leif Dormsjo. [WashTimes]
