Shipping container homes first made their mark in Brookland in 2014, and now it looks like they're making their return in the Rosedale neighborhood. Planned for the 1600 block of Kramer Street NE, 22 condos will be built to resemble the typical Washington, D.C. rowhouse. Each three-story unit will include two 1,200-square-foot bedrooms. Urban Turf reported that 40 percent of the homes will be designated as affordable housing.
