Cleaning Up the Waterfront

After Friday's Supreme Court hearing on Old Town Alexandria's waterfront plan, developer EYA agreed to haul nearly all fill and excavation material from the site by barge. By agreeing to do this, roughly 90 percent of all construction-related truck trips through the area will be eliminated, as reported by Washington Business Journal. [WBJ]
